Tokaanu and Rangipo PS Station Services

Tokaanu and Rangipo hydro power stations are part of the Tongariro Power Scheme in the central North Island of New Zealand. Both stations are owned and operated by Genesis Energy.

McMahon Involvement

McMahon were engaged to replace the station services switchboards at both the Tokaanu and Rangipo power stations. The switchboards provide supplies for the generator auxiliaries and general station services. The project included upgrading of the controls for the emergency diesel generator at Rangipo and the auxiliary hydro generator at Tokaanu.
