McMahon is a name that has been involved in the successful delivery of significant power generation and industrial electrical projects in New Zealand for over 40 years. The company name has evolved from McMahon and McDowell, McMahon and Associates, McMahon Engineering Consulting Ltd and now McMahon Ltd.
McMahon Ltd has two working Directors based with fellow Engineers in offices in Auckland, Tauranga, Napier and New Plymouth. Engineers are supported by in house CAD services, specialist software packages, and access to third party specialists as required.
We are a practical ‘hands on’ group of engineers and can take direct responsibility and involvement in all aspects of the project, from project scoping, cost estimates to detailed design and commissioning assistance.
Our inhouse skills and experience cover most aspects of industrial electrical engineering. This includes high and medium voltage, protection, generators, switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, power system analysis and arc flash, lightning protection, programmable logic controller design and instrumentation.
