The Ngatamariki Geothermal site consists of 7 geothermal wells (3 production and 4 re-injection).
McMahon Involvement
McMahon successfully undertook and delivered the total electrical and control system design for the Ngatamariki Steamfield in conjunction with Hawkins Infrastructure Ltd.
Inclusive of the was 11kV and control system reticulation design, conceptual and detailed design for the Steamfield, tender administration and evaluation, site construction supervision and commissioning support
McMahon provided the engineering design expertise to assist Contact Energy with the control system integration of Well’s BR66 and BR67 into the Separation Plant 1 DCS (ABB 800xA). McMahon were engaged to design, specify, tender and administer the delivery of the projects.
