Moomba South Australia

The Santos Moomba gas processing plant is located in central Australia, approximately 770km north of Adelaide.

McMahon Involvement

Electrical engineering services for the upgrade of the plants 11kV electrical reticulation network. This Included a new ring main distribution system and switchgear (42 circuit breakers and 6 generators).

In addition McMahon were responsible for undertaking hardware and software design changes to the DeltaV DCS inclusive of configuration, graphics, factory and site acceptance testing.

Site supervision and commissioning saw McMahon provide site technical assistance, project cut over planning for uninterrupted plant operation, site permitting and commissioning assistance.
