Manukau Super Clinic – Incomer Upgrade

Electrical demand at the Manukau Super Clinic will progressively increase over the next 10 to 15 years based on the MHP masterplan. A critical aspect of the masterplan is to ensure reliable power supply with sufficient capacity for the MHP projected demand.

McMahon was engaged by Te Whatu Ora – Counties Manukau to:

• Conduct a review of the available capacity on the existing network connection.
• Review the MHP projected demand based on electrical initiatives and redevelopment plans.
• Assess available options for an upgraded connection from the local power distributor (Vector) to ensure the upgraded connection will meet the projected demand levels.

This work also involved review of pricing and risk for the various power supply connection options available.
